Birchwood Telepsychiatry strives to be a leader in patient centered care and evidence based medicine.
We use a secure, confidential, HIPAA compliant, web-based telehealth platform in order to bring convenient healthcare services to you.
Birchwood Telepsychiatry provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy services
for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
We treat ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, addictions, dementia, perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, women's mental health, and many others.
We care about you as an individual and are dedicated to helping you to get your life back on track.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Master's degree from the University of South Alabama, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I am in the process of finalizing my Doctoral project. The American Nurses Credentialing Center has certified me in family psychiatry across the lifespan. I have over 15 years of psychiatric nursing experience. I have worked inpatient, outpatient, at long term care facilities and residential treatment centers. I have experience working with people of all ages from the young to the old.
My skills and experience allows me to assist you in setting appropriate life goals and defining strategies to accomplish those goals. There is no set approach for mental health care. Every patient is unique and will be treated as such. We will customize your experience and help you to achieve optimal health.

I am a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in various health care settings including Intensive Care, home health, and supervision. I focus on the person as a whole and try to help make their care realistic and work with their life situation.
I will be helping the providers at Birchwood Professional ensure timely care. I will provide assistance with prior authorizations, medication refills, records and communication with clients between sessions.
I live in Western Pennsylvania. I have three adult children and several grandchildren.

Janelle Agnew is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with training treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing specialization from Drexel University. She has over 15 years of psychiatric nursing experience. She has worked inpatient, outpatient, and in the residential treatment setting. Janelle brings to Birchwood a passion for providing quality, compassionate mental health care to all her clients.

I received my Master’s of Science in Nursing Degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. I have over seven years of psychiatric nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am dedicated to providing individualized and compassionate mental health care to each and every client here at Birchwood Professional, LLC.
